Forget these fancy pants new kids on the block like Popcaps and their mind-blowingly huge Plants vs Zombies title — if you’re a real gamer, you’ll be spending your cash on Final Fantasy I and II for $8.99 a pop. That’s what most of the sites are saying, anyway.
I would actually much rather play Angry Birds, Plants vs Zombies, or the newly released Tilt to Live than relive a Japenese RPG experience dating back to 1987. I guess I just don’t like grinding (in the non-sexy dancing way) against monsters for hours upon hours on end and rotating between “attack” and my various basic elemental spells. I’ll stop there, though. I don’t want to grinch up everyone else’s childhood/youth gaming experiences, so I’ll just end this post with some handy iTunes links:
