I’m guessing that the answer is yes, it will void the warranty. Especially because it takes away the serial numbers along the back of the iPhone.

Hadn’t thought of that. I don’t move the power brick that often, though. I’m thinking that a rough sponge might also do the trick, but it might not be coarse enough. It worked on my bezel, though, as previously mentioned on-site.

It won’t debrand it but it can make it look better after months of abuse. I used a fine grit fingernail file (the foam block kind) to finish it off so I might try the headlight restoration kit and see if I can get the high shine back.
