The creators of KaleidoVid for iPhone set out to ‘do something delightful‘ as a little break from the grind of sometimes intense iPhone development work.
I’ve been using the app for a little while and here’s my very first impression: they succeeded, 110%. The app is simple and fun to use, and produces lovely images with absolutely minimal effort. I’m pretty sure my daughter – and kids in general – should find the app just as delightful as I have.
It’s also a damn fine way to create some great new wallpapers for yourself.
Here’s a couple that I made in just a very few minutes of pointing KaleidoVid at a tile floor in our house and a bit of my daughter’s artwork:

Hats off to these guys for creating such a wonderful little app. This one is a definite keeper for me and also goes straight onto my list of ‘wow factor’ iPhone apps that are worth showing off to family, friends, and poor lost souls who do not own iPhones. đ
