For those of you looking for an interesting source of tweetable goodies, might I suggest On This Day…, a new free app from Sophiesticstion software (I love this company’s name). Sophiestication sold 10,000 copies of the excellent Articles Wikipedia app in just a few short days, and so On This Day is a thank-you in app form.
The UI is extemely simple, but quite elegant. It calls up interesting sets of historical facts that happened on a particular date and displays them in chronological order. The only catch is that you need an Internet connection to get the facts into the app.
You can pick up On This Day for FREE in the App Store now. Relevant links will open in Safari by default, but you can also use Articles if you have it installed.
