Rogers/Fido: iPhone tethering for all data plans 1GB and above

Oh my goodness. Somebody slap me and take away $5 more out of my wallet per month, because I might just be tempted to upgrade my $25/500MB plan to a $30/1GB plan now that Rogers and Fido have finally gotten off of their “uhh I’m still deciding” high horses and announced a concrete, more-than-temporary tethering policy. There’s another exception aside from the minimum 1GB plan, though:
[Tethering] cannot be used with the new 1 GB+ One Rate Roaming plans (except Rocket stick plans), Family Shared Data & Voice Plans and Smartphone & Rocket stick shared data plans.
So you’re still out of luck if you happen to subscribe to any of those services for sharing your data across your smartphone and Rocket Stick (mobile 3G).
