As much as the Case-Mate marketing department would have you believe that the go Bare really is something you’ve never seen or heard of before, it does look a lot like those other invisible films that you’re not supposed to be able to see once applied (InvisibleShield, Bodyguardz, etc.). What is of note here, however, is the lack of a liquid application solution for this protective film. The go Bare is applied just like a transparent sticker, and it apparently only takes about five minutes to apply the front and back, since you don’t have to wait for anything to dry. There’s still an initial 24-hour period, during which you have to be careful about unseating the film, but after that you should be golden — well, err, invisible.
The Case-Mate go Bare (including front + back films) is available for $24.99, making it a bit more expensive than most other skins on the market, although it does also come with a “lifetime warranty”. You won’t see this one in Apple Stores, though, since each package contains what is essentially a screen protector.
