OTA updates and sync means you don't need to rely on any single computer to get everything you need for the phone. You think you only bought an iPhone, but you also need to have a computer dedicated to it for those syncing needs. On the road? You'll need to drag your laptop along if you want to sync anything. Computer crash? You have to wait until you can sync again.

I'm still on v3.1. If they pushed them, buh bye J/B. I mean is it really a big deal to plug in once a quarter? Does anyone who has a smartphone not have a pc? I think that particular argument is just an opinion, and one I think a lot of people would disagree with.
