I didn't actually – and that's not a great fix for this issue in my view. To do it on my Mac I'd have to logout of my iTunes account and login as my daughter to try it, and on here netbook iTunes runs like very badly behaved dog. Also, the whole point of having redeem codes usable on the iPhone is being able to use 'em on the iPhone and not mess with iTunes on the desktop. 🙂

Did you try opening the link on a "real" computer? I bet that would have worked. Sometimes Mobile Safari can be quirky.
