Even during this crazy iPad launch week, which is flooded with news and hype on the upcoming device, there are plenty of juicy iPhone rumors flying around as well. One of the biggest is the ever-popular one about the iPhone coming to Verizon this year.
The Wall Street Journal has a piece up saying a CDMA version of the iPhone for the Verizon network is in the works for late summer. Apple Insider’s report today has analysts doubting that Verizon gets an iPhone this year – and speculating that a CDMA version would be for China or Japan.
I’m happy with AT&T. In Austin we get good data and voice coverage, and we have a great family plan with tons of rollover minutes – so we’re very unlikely to be Verizon switchers.
