Apple has released a public statement confirming that the iPad launch this Saturday, April 3rd. Apple also states that the Wi-Fi iPad model will be available at all of Apple’s 221 retail stores and at “most” Best Buy locations. iPad will go on sale at 9:00am.
“iPad connects users with their apps and content in a far more intimate and fun way than ever before,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We can’t wait for users to get their hands and fingers on it this weekend.”
Apple also stated that customers making iPad purchases at their retail stores will receive Personal Setup service, which means retail staff will help customers with things like setting up email accounts and so on. Apple also plans to start offering iPad workshops on Saturday.
