Yeah its ok to send the link to safari to then save the image, but surely it would be just as easy to save the images inside the app itself.

That would make this app perfect for my use.

If you have checked out iNews it's well worth it. Been using it for quite some time now and have tried many others (News Rack, Doppler, Feeds, Manifesto, Byline, NetNewsWire) but always come back to iNews. I think it would be more popular if the dev redid the screenshots (I don't use the non pro mode that looks like magazine covers and I don't use the gimmicky "shake" gestures. iNews is very capable without this fluff. Also like the tilt to scroll feature though I don't use it nearly as much as I do in instapaper.

INews looks very similar to the Reeder screenshots when you use pro mode.

Might have to give Reeder a go as it looks very nice (though missing a search feature, which iNews has)

Cheers,

Rich

There's another section I simply don't use: fbook integration. I just don't tend to share very much on Facebook — esp. since most of my friends aren't techies, and tech feeds are pretty much all I follow on Greader.

That is odd! lol. I usually do all of my RSS reading and catching up when i'm away from my PC. Out and about, in boring meetings, on the toilet, etc. LOL So the missing search was pretty apparent quite quickly for me. If u have any contact with the dev, why not make a friendly suggestion for both of us??? 🙂

The lack of Facebook support is more frustrating, though I haven't gone back to newsrack in 2 weeks. Great app otherwise.

Smooth and seamless. They way I like it. Lol. But, Unlike you I do have one feature request, and it is one that I have missed since switching to Reeder from Newsrack. SEARCH!!! I never noticed how much I used it until I lost that feature coming to Reeder. Keyword search is great for finding all the articles about a certain topic, or one u previously read and simply forgot to star. Hopefully this feature will make the next update.
