MacRumors has received information claiming that some independent Apple Resellers will be planning to sell iPads begging this Saturday at launch. MacRumors states that 150 resellers with some 300 locations are part of the “Apple Specialist” group. There is no news regarding which locations will have the iPad at launch however. They can’t release that information even if they did know:
According to the report, the resellers are subject to a nondisclosure agreement with Apple that has precluded them from advertising iPad availability or even confirming that they will carry the device.
Of course iPad will be available through all of Apple’s retail stores and at 675 Best Buy locations that offer Apple shops in their stores.
