I just received (yesterday afternoon) my newly purchased Energizer case from NewEgg.com for like $20 shipping included. It looks very similar to what you posted, has a battery indicator, doesn't mess with reception, and charges through the mini-usb. I actually loved the Morphie when I tried it, but it cracked my 3gs (just hairline, but still) and it massively reduced signal (like the 3-bars of 3G to searching for signal). The FuelMate case at Walmart costs around $70, also charges the same way, and doesn't reduce signal. You also have the Walmart warranty advantage of trying it for a month and then returning it for the full price. In my opinion, $70 for 1200mAh is outrageous.

I have had the Mili Powerskin for a couple of months now and have had nothing but problems. Not actually with the charging unit itself but rather with OS 3.1.3. I consistantly get error messages that the device is not compatible and it becomes annoying when listening to music and the music is stopped to display the error dialog. I wrote Mili regarding this problem and they responded by saying it was an issue with 3.1.3 and that Apple was aware of it. I have not used the Mili since.

Looks good, actually better aesthetically than the Mophie. But $70+ for either option? No thanks, not when you can get practically the same functionality at Monoprice for $18. I've had mine for a few months, no issues and works great, particularly useful for travel.
