Minigore updated to Episode 3.8: HD graphics, better OpenFeint integration

There are two notable changes in Minigore Episode 3.8: the first is the rather underwhelming addition of a fence to the borders of the map. This removes the age old problem of running repeatedly into an “invisible wall”, because you can now see said wall represented by a wooden fence. Exciting stuff.

The second change is a welcome one for users, like myself, who lost all of their kills (points) from previous Minigore versions for whatever reason. The game can now restore your kills based on the achievements you had unlocked on OpenFeint (ex. I started off with 58,000 kills when I booted up), but this hinges on your use of the global scoreboard system. If you never logged into OpenFeint, then you’ll still be stuck at zero kills.

As a last bit of news: if you’ve been wondering about Minigore but have found the astronomical $1.99 price tag too expensive, the game is currently on sale at a whopping 50% off of its retail price. $0.99 for one game?! What a deal! 😀
