Apple’s WWDC Event June 7-11, New iPhone Announcement Expected

WWDC 2010

Apple has announced that WWDC 2010 – its Worldwide Developers Conference for this year – will be held from June 7 to June 11 in San Francisco.

It’s widely expected that they’ll announce their new iPhone model during the event, as they did last year with the iPhone 3GS. Or maybe they’ll just post Gizmodo’s reveal of the new device in huge poster form all round the conference venue and save on keynote costs. 🙂

Apple Design Award winners – five for iPhone and five for iPad – will also be announced during WWDC 2010.  Those are always interesting to see and a huge boost for the winners I imagine.

Other things we might see and hear during WWDC 2010: the release of, or release date announcements for, iPhone OS 4; some iPad sales numbers, latest crazy/huge App Store numbers, a reference to the ‘lost iPhone’ during the keynote – maybe even a cameo appearance by ‘that poor guy who lost it’???
