Apple Finally Announces WWDC 2010: June 7-11, Releases Another Seed of Mac OS X 10.6.4

Apple has at last announced the dates for their World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC). The event will take place June 7th through the 11th at the usual venue–Mascone West convention center in San Francisco.

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is the premier technical conference for developers innovating with Apple technologies. Over 1,000 Apple engineers will be at Moscone West to present advanced coding and development techniques that will show you how to enhance the capabilities of your applications with the revolutionary technologies in iPhone OS and Mac OS X.

Just as with years past, the conference includes technical sessions and hands-on labs for the attendees who fork over a hefty $1599 for a ticket. My guess is that Apple waited a lot longer to announce this year’s date(usually announced in March), and the price hike were in an effort to liberate a few seats, for the event which has quickly sold out in recent years.

It is also expected that Apple will introduce their new iPhone model during the keynote at the start of the conference.

In other developer news, Apple has seeded yet another build (Build 10F37) of Mac OS X 10.6.4. There only seems to be one outstanding issue involving iChat requesting a password upon launch.
