TUAW reported recently that Apple has surpassed Motorola to become the largest handset maker in the US. I actually think Motorola has some very interesting devices on the market now (the Droid is a beautiful, solid slider), but I can’t help but grin about iPhones usurping the Moto Razr throne. I hated that phone and its interface, so there’s a sick little bit of satisfaction that I feel about Apple’s 8.8 million to Motorola’s 8.5 million handsets sold (in the first quarter of 2010).
Schadenfreude isn’t good for you, though, so I’ll stop gloating now.
