Upcoming iPhone to Record HD Video?

MacRumors is reporting that the iPhone 4 Beta SDK, reveals that the upcoming iPhone has the ability to capture video at 1280×720 which is HD. Compare this to the current model that can only capture video at 640×480, or “VGA” resolution.
Here are the two pieces of code in the SDK that gave this away:

Other recent rumors have suggested that the new iPhone will have a 5 megapixel camera, and there have also been rumors suggesting that the screen will offer double the current iPhone’s resolution.

Of course, this new iPhone is expected to be introduced at this year’s WWDC, which is scheduled for June 7-11th.
