Apple is now taking pre-orders for the iPad in the nine countries that Apple just announced the device would be available on May 28th. Pre-orders cover both the Wi-fi and the Wi-Fi+3G models. These countries include: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
As mentioned yesterday, the iPad will be available in yet nine more countries come July. Those countries are: Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Singapore. No pricing information has been released for these countries at this time. However, if you reside in one of the nine countries getting the iPad in May, you should check your local Apple website for pricing details.
