[Yes, it’s safe to update to this version, unlike v1.27]
Ooo, a new Minigore update! A new, explosive furry to deal with, auto-aiming, a re-balancing of the Predator furry (the little bastard who keeps jumping around), and a hidden fourth difficulty setting (hint: look for the “X” somewhere on the top right of the map…) make this update a pretty amazing and unexpected surprise.
The auto-aiming is quite useful and actually takes a different play style to use effectively, since it only aims at the nearest enemies, and only when they’re within arm’s reach of your character. I also love the new fourth difficulty level, which ramps the action up to an insane new plateau, with increased drop rates, even more furries, and a red tint to the screen that makes you feel like you’ve gone absolutely berserk.
Here’s hoping we really see the long awaited Episode 4.0 update (local co-op) soon, but kudos to the devs at Mountain Sheep for all of these micro updates.
