Wi-Fi Issues to be Addressed In Upcoming iPad Software Update

Apple has updated a support document which offers up solutions for Wi-Fi connectivity problems some iPad customers have been experiencing. It seems that the problems aren’t caused by any one factor, and now Apple offers workarounds for those factors. However, Apple now states in the document that “Apple will also address remaining Wi-Fi connectivity issues with a future iPad software update.”

Here are the workarounds mentioned:
– Updating Wi-Fi router firmware
– Using WPA or WPA2 wireless security
– Adjusting screen brightness
– Renewing IP address

As for the issues themselves, they include weak signal strength and forgotten passwords. Apple claims however, that these issues affect only a “very small number” of iPad customers.

In other words, expect a software update for iPad to show up any day now.
