Another Next-Gen iPhone Prototype Surfaces

It appears that Apple has lost yet another next-gen iPhone prototype. This time, instead of Gizmodo breaking the news, these images have surfaced on a Vietnamese forum called Taoviet.vn (cached page). This extensive gallery itself doesn’t seem to add any new information we already know from the Gizmodo leak.

The device only booted to firmware, and did not play well with iTunes when connected to a computer.

However, iFixit goes on to confirm, from the photos, that the iPhone prototype is equipped with an Apple A4 chip, the same processor that powers the iPad. iFixit goes on to confirm that the new model will have 256MB of RAM, which of course, is the same amount loaded into both the iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch (32 and 64GB models).
