Apple Releases New iPad Ad

Apple has begun airing a new iPad ad called “What is iPad?”. The ad is a montage outlining what the iPad is capable of. It’s one of the more interesting ads Apple has issued in some time.

Now take a look at this:

MacRumor’s Arnold Kim points out that this new iPad ad has a striking resemblance to an old Apple Newton ad from the 1990’s entitled “What is Newton?”. If Apple follows the groundwork laid by the Newton ads, they could very well follow this ad with a “Who is iPad” and “Where is iPad?,” just like the “Who is Newton?” and “Where is Newton?” ads.
