Hard case. Hard plastic. Still has no visible scratches on it and the colour and design appear as they did on day one.

Now my question is… is it a hard case or one of those rubber cases that gradually expands? Because that’s my deal-breaker…

I got the yellow Clouds Within The Thunder in February, and by April the edges were peeling, and it looked filthy – and I'm not necessarily extremely abusive with my phone. It's mainly in my purse pocket by itself, or in my hand. I'm still really unhappy about the appearance of the case and considering trying to get my money back. Oh, and to top it off, you can see the dark words with the artwork's and the artist's names printed on the inside from OUTSIDE the case. Probably just an issue with the yellow case, but they should have printed it in a lighter color. And I've recently noticed that on the silver apple logo on the back of my phone, you can see a slight imprint from the words that no amount of rubbing will get out.

Love Threadless, but this case made me way sad.

@John Unfortunately, it does not. It stops just below the bezel, although I do have a screen protector on the device, so that takes care of any scratch worries along the front. I used a crystal screen protector I got from one of the SwitchEasy case reviews I did.

It's also not a case I'd use if I were prone to dropping my device. I try to keep a very firm grip on the phone at all times — but I'm more lax about putting it down on not-so-friendly surfaces 😛

Does it meet that feature?

I have been wanting to get this case for a while now. I am afraid to buy it now bc of the new iPhone coming out soon. I wonder if the same accessories and cases will work. Nice review, glad to hear it didn't wear out.
