I guess if I HAD to have Things I would bite the bullet. Heck, I have Bento for OS X, iPad, and iPhone and even paid for the (IMHO, unnecessary) version 3 upgrade when it seemed version 2 had been out only a year.

I was also thinking maybe the economy hasn't taken as big a toll on those that actually have need for such a robust task manager so they can afford it!

$80 for the whole package is quite a lot, especially given that the iPad app is so new and is still missing quite a lot (or so I've read in reviews).
