A Chinese website called Taobao.com has posted a few images that suggest the next-gen iPhone may come in two models: One with a black front panel (like all iPhone and iPod touch models before it), or one with a white front panel.
So, if these are real images, expect a white, and traditional black iPhone models. I can’t see the white panel working out though. Think about this from a pragmatic point of view. Do you want a bright, white, panel conflicting with the content on screen? No, instead you need contrast (a black panel), to keep your eyes focused on your content.
Maybe it will work, but at this moment, I think this is a prototype part, and we likely won’t see this included with a shipping product. We’ll see.
