Engadget (via Macerkopf.de) is reporting that Apple has started to bring the App Store online in countries that are preparing to receive the iPad on May 28th. Those countries are: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. Not all of these countries will be receiving the iPad on May 28th, but their stores are coming online anyway.
Macerkopf.de is also reporting that the iBookstore is also coming online for many international countries preparing for the iPad launch this weekend. However, most of the books showing up as of this moment, are a part of the Project Guttenburg.
