Helix Gaming Grip for iPhone now available at Best Buy
Here’s a niche accessory that might be genuinely useful if you do enough gaming on the iPhone. The racing wheel form factor obviously works well for racing games, but the fact that it keeps your fingers a little farther away from the screen should be great for all sorts of games. I often feel a little cramped while trying to hold the iPhone up and make sure my fingers aren’t completely blocking the screen.

Interesting concept – but don't the majority of games, even racing and flight games, make use of onscreen buttons? It seems like it might be more difficult to hit those buttons with this device – but perhaps game designers will start innovating to make use of peripherals like this.

as long as the buttons are towards the edge of the device, it seems like ite should be okay. I say that without any hands-on time, though
