Simplenote for iPhone updated to 2.62: auto-opened notes now sync properly

Although, technically, all changes to a note-taking app can be described as “notable”, there’s really only one that I think is worth mentioning. Launching the free Simplenote app will now start a sync regardless of whether you’re inside a note or on the list view screen. It took me quite a while to notice this bug, but it eventually dawned on me when I realized all of the little drafts I’d written up on my iPhone simply weren’t syncing on my MacBook until after I had closed the notes within Simplenote.

So what does all of that really mean? It means you can use Simplenote now like it was meant to work. Take notes, and don’t even worry about the syncing.
