taptaptap releases Camera+ for iPhone

It isn’t the best time to release an app, but if anyone can make a splash on the same day as the tidal wave of WWDC news, it’s the developers over at tap tap tap. Developed in conjunction with photographer Lisa Bettany, Camera+ looks to be one of those all-in-one photo apps: the kind that helps you take, share, and edit pictures without ever having to press Home. Inside the app, you’ll find standards like cropping, specialized filters, digital zoom, and an image stabilizer.  The most unique feature, however, is the app’s interface.

taptaptap have made a name for themselves by creating gorgeous interfaces. I had a lot of trouble choosing between taptaptap’s Convert and Tapbots’ Convertbot a while back, and I may well end up checking Camera+ out just to play with the interface. It’s like a DSLR version of Hipstamatic, but with more animations, and the intro video is definitely worth a look.

Camera+ is currently available for a launch price of $2.99.
