Yesterday we learned all about the new iPhone 4 model that will be released in just a couple of weeks (on June 24th). Those of you (in the US) who were impressed with yesterday’s unveiling of the new iPhone and want to get one, may well want to check on what sort of upgrade pricing you’re eligible for with AT&T.
There are at least a couple of quick ways to check your upgrade options. The first is to visit the att.com website and login with your phone number and password. Once you’re logged in, you just need to click the ‘Check Upgrade Options’ link shown in the screenshot at the top of this post. It’s under the Quick Links section in the middle pane near the top of the page once you’ve logged in.
Once you click that link, you’ll get a page showing your upgrade options for phones in general, with a dedicated little section for iPhone upgrade options.
If you’re like me and you often forget your AT&T login details, an even easier method (that will offer less detailed information) is to just call *639# on your iPhone. That will generate a text message reply that will tell you your current upgrade status. Thanks to Macgasm for the tip on this method.
