Xcode 4 and iTunes 9.2

MacRumors is reporting that Apple has released a developers preview version of Xcode 4, however, Apple is currently placing the development environment under a non-disclosure agreement for conference attendees. That means few details have been leaked to the rest of us. What little information that has made it’s way out of the conference suggest that Apple has integrated Interface Builder directly into Xcode, thus creating a “unified interface.”

Xcode 4 Developer Preview is the revolutionary new development environment for building Mac, iPhone, and iPad applications. With it, you can write better code, faster. WWDC attendees can log in and download this new version of Apple’s Integrated Development Environment.

Apple has also issued a beta of iTunes 9.2 to developers with the iOS 4 Gold Master candidate. iTunes 9.2 will be needed for the iPhone 4, while introducing new features like support for new iBooks features like PDF compatibility and bookmark syncing. App folder organization within iTunes for iOS 4 devices, faster backups for iOS 4 devices, and performance improvements can also be expected when this update is released to the public.
