Apple Now Accepting iOS 4 Apps for Approval, Releases 'iTunes Connect Mobile' App to Developers

Only a few days after Apple seeded the Gold Master candidate of iOS 4 (formerly iPhone OS 4) to developers, Apple is now accepting iOS 4-ready applications for App Store approval. Apple is doing this so developers can have their applications ready, and on the store in time for the June 21st launch of the software.

Of course iOS 4 will ship on the new iPhone 4 and offers new features such as multitasking, folders, and so on.

In other developer news, Apple has released an iOS application called iTunes Connect Mobile. This app aims to help developers track sales data for their applications on Apple’s App Store.

The iTunes Connect Mobile application allows developers to access their sales and trend data from iTunes Connect. You can now view your daily and weekly sales data related to updates, paid and free apps as well as In-App purchases. Whether at the office, at home or on the go, iTunes Connect Mobile keeps you informed about your sales numbers right on your iPhone or iPod touch.

The application will run on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, running iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
