Two reports have surface claiming to be AT&T documents outlining the company’s plans for the iPhone 4.
One report claims that AT&T will be offering bill credit rebates for iPhone 3GS purchasers between May 7th and June 7th. The customers will receive $50 for a 16GB model and $100 for the 32GB model, but only if they file a request with the company. The offer is good for 30 days, and customers who bought a 3GS from May 7th through May 14th, have until June 14th to file for the rebate.
Additionally, AT&T is offering iPhone 3GS customers who bought the device between May 7th and June 7th the option of upgrading to an iPhone 4, only paying the difference in price. Anyone who bought the 3GS after June 7th is not eligible however.
The second report outlines AT&Ts plans for launch day. They plan to open doors at 7AM on June 24th. New customers will only be permitted to activate one new line on iPhone 4, while existing customers can activate an iPhone 4 for each of their currently active mobile numbers.
Overall, AT&T actually sounds reasonable right now.
