BugMe! 1.05 for iPhone: now powered by local notifications!

Posted on 28 Jun 2010 by Thomas

We’ve had to wait a while for the release of iOS 4, but this new firmware has unlocked the true potential of apps like BugMe! (review here). Thanks to Local Notifications on iOS 4 (part of Apple’s multi-tasking integration), those days of requiring a signal for something as simple as a sticky note alarm are long gone. Now you can set BugMe! alarms for whatever time and date you like and your iPhone will ring — rain or shine, signal or  no.

I can’t begin to describe how much more useful this will make iPhone utilities, and I can’t wait for similar apps (like MultiTimers) to follow in BugMe!’s footsteps.

So when do you think we'll get persistent missed call reminders?
