iPhone 4 has Improved GPS Accuracy over Previous iPhone Generations

iFixit has torn down iPhone 4, and it turns out that the new iPhone has the same Broadcom BCM4750 chip that gave the iPad 3G it’s improved GPS speed and accuracy over the iPhone 3GS.

There have also been user reports that back up the claims of greater speed and accuracy.
