Bizarro iPhone Accessory Is What England Needed at the World Cup

Posted on 07 Jul 2010 by PatrickJ

This is what was missing when England were playing their World Cup matches – better support!  (along with the ability to pass the ball, score goals, or even come close to living up to their inflated reputation).  How fitting that it is made by a German.

This same developer/inventor – Holger Blumler of HMB-TEC – has got a range of crazy iPhone accessories that work via the headphone jack, including a pocket fan, a laser pointer and more.  There’s lots more details on these over at this post at the KRAPPS site:

Maybe you'll notice that the U.S. team went out in the same round as the U.K. As you yanks seem to demonstrate time and time again, your comments are ill-informed, and prejudiced towards an entire nation. At least do your research if you feel like insulting a nation's worth of people. Sad.

I'm well aware of when the US team was knocked out. My dad was English, I spent many years living in England, and I am a passionate England supporter when it comes to football – so not sure how that qualifies me as a 'yank' on this topic. As for insulting an entire nation, bollocks – read the post. I insulted England's football team, nobody else – and I'm quite happy to stick by my criticism. They played terribly throughout the tournament. As an England fan, they were embarrassing to watch.

Perhaps you should do a bit of research, or at least read the words posted, before saying I've insulted a nation's worth of people.
