Case Manufacturer Leaks Proposed Next-Gen iPod Touch Design

HardMac is reporting that they have received a case manufacturer mock-up design for a case, which would be used on a next-gen iPod touch. Nothing to special, until you take into account it has a hole for an off-centered camera and flash, much like the one seen on the iPhone 4.

Even if it is hard to have a perfect view through the case, it looks like the back is rounded, unlike the one of the new iPhone, and of course, there is a camera and a flash.

This source is very reliable since it is already thanks to it that we were able to predict the camera on the iPod Mini last year.

Apple notoriously keeps their product designs secret from peripheral manufactures in fear of them letting the designs leek ahead of product launch. However, some case manufacturers get a head start by designing cases based on rumors they have been hearing, and changing them as product launch nears.

This report of course, goes hand-in-hand with other recent rumors we’ve been hearing regarding the next-gen iPod touch being equipped with a rear or front-facing camera.
