Major Simplenote for iPhone update coming soon
The highly awaited update to the Simplenote note-taking app is coming soon. The app will be unavailable on the App Store in the meantime, though.
The devs at Simperium have stated that “it should only be a matter of days”, and I really can’t wait to see what they’ve cooked up. At the very least, Simplenote is in some serious need of Fast App Switching capability. iOS 4 has been out for over a month and I’ve had to resort to using Backgrounder (thanks, ashikase!) to get the app to load as quickly as all of my other, more frequently updated apps.
Simperium told me they had the option of releasing a quick iOS 4 update or waiting a bit longer to release something with a little more vavoom (not quite their words), so here’s hoping the wait has been worth it.
