Although I’ve not tried QuickReader (yet), the video here makes it look like a worthwhile investment. A press release here announces that QuickStone Software has announced a QuickReader Young Reader’s Edition and to celebrate…

… QuickReader maker Inkstone Software is giving away 50 promotional codes of the new version of the application to teachers and schools. Inkstone founder Patrick Thompson says ‘as parents ourselves, we want to support innovative teachers and reading programs around the country so we are making our entire allotment of promo codes available to schools for free. ‘

The Young Readers ‘ edition of QuickReader is available for $5.99 from the iTunes store. Teachers can request a special US promo code to obtain a free copy of the app by emailing free4teachers(at)quickreader(dot)net

If you either own this app or are able to get a free promo code, let us know your impressions!
