Some very good news for users of the excellent Twitter app (the official one) for iPhone. The app will soon be adding push notifications. 

But the one thing it has been lacking and that users knock it for is the lack of Push Notifications. Well, good news. They’re coming. Soon.

That’s from MG Siegler’s report on this over at TechCrunch. Apparently Twitter are already testing push – so we really should be seeing this feature added very soon.

I’m quite happy with Boxcar delivering Twitter notifications to me, but I know that many Twitter app users prefer to have the feature available within their favorite app.
