iOS 4.1 Update Release on September 8?

So according to the US Apple site, the iOS 4.1 update is ‘coming soon’ while the UK site says soon is September 8.
I think 9/8 sounds about right, one week after it was announced but I’m not too fussed as long as it comes out sometime next week as promised.
