I haven’t updated to iOS 4.1 because I don’t think it’s incredibly pertinent to my 3GS experience (and I like my current jailbreak – thanks), but those of you who have made the leap to 4.1 and Game Center accounts may find Marco Arment’s tip useful.

This is really just a temporary solution, but hopefully Apple comes out with a patch soon enough. It’s also probably only a problem for people popular enough to receive an annoying number of friend requests (“not I”,  said the Thomas).
