Touchscreen iMacs May Not Be Coming So Soon, Supplier Denies Sending Apple Touchscreen Panels

DigiTimes is reporting that an executive/ spokesperson for Sintek Photronics is denying claims that the company sent Apple samples of large touchscreen panels for Apple to test on iMac prototypes.

Barry Wu, VP and spokesperson of Sintek Photronics has denied reports that the company is sampling projected capacitive touch panels for Apple’s iMac.

Of course, this report is referring to the claims we heard earlier this week that Sintek Photronics had sent Apple samples of large touchscreen panels that Apple was using in touchscreen-capable iMac prototypes. We’ve also heard in several reports throughout the year that Apple is working on a touch-capable iMac.
