Daylight Savings Bug in iOS 4.1 Now Affecting European Users

093441-ios_clock_icon.jpgIt is being reported that the same Daylight Savings Time bug that affected iOS 4.1 users in Australia and New Zealand, has now caused trouble in European countries.

Apple had stated that this issue will be fixed in a forthcoming software update, presumably iOS 4.2, which of course, is due sometime this month. Also worth noting is the fact that users in the southern hemisphere are having their alarms go off an hour early, but users in the norther hemisphere, who are ending Daylight Savings Time, are having their alarms go off an hour late.

Daylight Savings Time ends here in North America on November 7th, so unless Apple pushed iOS 4.2 out to the masses by then, this is your fair warning to set another alarm.
