Apple Releases Seed of Mac OS X 10.6.6 Before 10.6.5 Update Even Ships

MC223.jpegIn a really odd move, Apple has pushed out a seed (Build 10J521) of the Mac OS X 10.6.6. before Mac OS X 10.6.5 has been released to the general public.

Anyway, this build of 10.6.6, as noted by 9to5Mac, has no known issues, and has a focus on support for Apple’s forthcoming (only about 2 months out now) Mac App Store.

Another really odd facet to this build is it’s size. Right now, 10.6.6 only weighs in at 3.7MB, which suggests only very minor changes have been made. This further suggests, that Apple will be releasing this soon after 10.6.5 is released.
