Got Apple TV, Leaving the TV Stone Ages

We’ve had a TV that weighs around 4,000 pounds and occupies about the same amount of space as a small aircraft carrier for years now. We’ve never owned an HDTV. Until tomorrow, that is. Tomorrow we’re taking delivery of a lovely, large, new flat-screen HDTV set that will be a huge leap out of the TV stone ages for us.

So today I purchased a (hopefully) ideal little buddy for it. A really, really little buddy. I’m amazed how little the Apple TV box is, and how tiny its remote is. Mostly though, I’m just looking forward to trying out streaming movies and shows from Netflix and iTunes, and maybe some AirDisplay action via our iPads and iPhones.
