Verizon Airs First iPad Commercial


Verizon has begun airing a television ad featuring the iPad paired with the network provider’s MiFi hotspot. This ad comes after Verizon began selling the iPad bundled with their MiFi devices late last month.

Just as a reminder, Verizon sells the iPad as a standalone product, at the standard, Apple-set prices. Verizon also sells the WiFi-only iPad bundled with MiFi devices that cost the same as the iPad+3G model on AT&T’s network ($629.99,$729.99,$829.99). Data plans from Verizon start at $20/month for 1GB of data, which is fairly competitive with AT&T’s rates.
