How Many Apps Had You Created When You Were 12?
Here’s two of the iOS app developers I met briefly at this week’s 360iDev conference in Austin. On the left is Charlie Fish, CEO of App-Whiz, makers of Sword and a number of other iPhone apps. On the right is Santiago Gonzalez, owner of Hicaduda, publisher of nearly a dozen apps for the iPhone and iPad.
Did I mention they’re both 12 years old? I don’t know about you, but from what I can recall when I was 12 I could barely tie my shoes or find my way to the school bus stop. These guys are coding in multiple languages and making their mark in the App Store. I haven’t tried out any of their apps just yet, but I think you have to admire the heck out of these guys for what they’ve achieved already, and I imagine the best is yet to come from these two. It was very cool meeting them, and seeing their enthusiasm for what they’re doing.
