Version 2.0 of Momento, the excellent iPhone journal app, was recently submitted to the App Store for approval, and should be out most any day now. This update has been a long time coming (I published a review of v1.0 in January), but it looks like the wait will have been worth it.
The devs have posted a pretty comprehensive list of what to get excited about on their personal blog, and, although I couldn’t care less about Gowalla and Foursquare check-ins, I am very much looking forward to extended restore and backup support, as well as the new landscape mode.
This should all sound pretty exciting for current owners of Momento, but if you’re one of those people who has yet to get in on this hot, journal entering action, Momento is on sale for $0.99 (normally $2.99) until V2.0 hits the App Store.
